علّق البرازيلي نيمار لاعب باريس سان جيرمان، على فوزهم القاتل في مباراة اليوم أمام ليون، في بطولة الدوري الفرنسي.

وأردف: “هذه هي المرة الأولى التي ألعب فيها على ملعبنا الجديد، أنا سعيد للغاية بوجود مشجعينا ودعمهم، وهم يصرخون بأسماء اللاعبين، يجب أن نواصل ونمضي قدمًا”.

لم يكتفِ ماركو أسينسيو بهدفيه أمام فريق السابق ريال مايوركا، وسجل الهدف الثالث له والرابع لريال مدريد، في المباراة الحالية بين الفريقين بالدوري الإسباني.

وجاء الهدف في الدقيقة 55، بعدما مرر كريم بنزيما كرة إلى أسينسيو على حدود منطقة الجزاء، والإسباني يسدد بشكل رائع في شباك مايوركا.

وكان كريم بنزيما أحرز هدف التقدم في الدقيقة الثانية، وأسينسيو سجل هدفين في الدقائق 24 و29، وهدف مايوركا سجله لي كانج إن في الدقيقة 25.

Tottenham Hotspur have ‘no chance’ of signing Nicolo Zaniolo from AS Roma this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano. 

Tottenham had been linked to Zaniolo long before Jose Mourinho replaced Mauricio Pochettino last November, but the Portuguese wanted to succeed where his predecessor failed in the transfer window.

Writing in The Guardian, the Italian transfer guru revealed that Roma have rejected their interest in the wonderkid as they have no intentions of letting him leave the Stadio Olimpico. The Spurs manager made it clear that he wanted to sign Zaniolo in the summer but Mourinho has been dealt a bitter blow as the Serie A club’s manager Paulo Fonseca has insisted that he is not up for sale because the 21-year-old is part of his plans.

After arriving at Roma from Inter Milan for £4m in 2018, Zaniolo has been described as one of the best players of his generation, having broken into the first team and establishing himself as one of their key players in the process.

The five-cap Italy international has made 25 appearances in Serie A this season, scoring six goals, supplying one assist, taking 1.7 shots and successfully completing 2.2 dribbles per game on average (via WhoScored).

The attacking midfielder, who can also operate in a more withdrawn central midfield role, has been compared to Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard and the Giallorossi claim that he is the heir-apparent to Francisco Totti. However, Roma are in no rush to sell him and have slapped an asking price of £50m on his head to ward off any potential suitors.

While he is surely a dream signing for Spurs, there is no way they would be able to afford him at the moment even if he were available in the transfer window.

After borrowing a huge £175m loan from the Bank of England to cover the costs of these uncertain times, Daniel Levy has insisted that he will not be spending “rivers of money” before the start of next season and Mourinho will have to look elsewhere if he wants to sign a new playmaker in the summer.

And Sky Sports claim that whilst the Bees value each player in excess of £25m, there is significant interest from clubs in the Premier League for the pair.

The report claims that Benrahma is “high on the lists of a string of Premier League clubs”, including Villa, with Watkins also being wanted by Dean Smith’s side.

Southampton have signed Kyle Walker-Peters from Tottenham Hotspur, with former Saints captain Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg heading in the opposite direction.

Walker-Peters, 23, has left north London for St Mary’s for a reported fee worth £12m after initially arriving on loan in January.

The full-back started the last two Premier League games of the season, helping Southampton beat Bournemouth and Sheffield United in the process.

He was famously part of the England U20 international squad who won the World Cup in 2017, but fell out of favour with Spurs boss Jose Mourinho after appearing to take a potshot at the Portuguese in an interview at the start of the year.

Walker-Peters, who is reportedly best friends with Dele Alli, made 24 appearances for his boyhood club, scoring one goal and supplying five assists in all competitions (via Transfermarkt).

He has signed a five-year deal with the Saints, having spent the second half of last season on loan at St Mary’s.

The academy graduate featured for Ralph Hasenhuttl’s side in all of their top flight games following the Premier League restart as Southampton surged to an 11th-placed finish.

He told the club’s official website “I’m delighted to have signed here. The last few months on loan have been great for me and a lot of fun too. I’ve really enjoyed my football, the atmosphere here and also the style of play.”

“The club definitely fits the way I like to play, and I hope that people were able to see that during the last month or so of the season.

“I feel like I’ve already developed in the time I’ve been here, and that’s a big part of wanting to stay too. Obviously, it’s a club with a great reputation for improving young players and, personally, I’ve found it really valuable working under the manager, with his ideas on the game and what he expects from you as an individual.

“I think the way we finished the season gives us real optimism about where we’re heading too, and it just feels like a really good place for me to keep developing as a player and make the best out of what I have.”

The Portuguese now has a problem he urgently needs to address, as his departure has left Spurs short of options. Serge Aurier remains the club’s only designated right-back, but his future remains uncertain, amid interest from AC Milan.

While Walker-Peters has played well since the restart, he never managed to impress in the first team at his boyhood club. Daniel Levy can use the much-needed funds to find a suitable replacement in the summer.
