Former Leeds United ace David Norris believes that the club are genuinely interested in signing Rodrigo De Paul this summer and thinks the player will want the move too.

Leeds’ interest in De Paul has become a long-running saga over the past few months.

They were widely tipped to have an interest last summer and were even reported to have tabled a bid for the Argentina international. He is valued at £34.2m by Transfermarkt.

That was rejected by Udinese and they could revisit the interest this summer as they look to strengthen Marcelo Bielsa’s squad after a superb season in which they finished in the Premier League’s top half.

Norris believes that both parties will be showing an interest in the move, and he believes that De Paul will want to make the move to Elland Road as the summer transfer window progresses.

Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, he said: “Yeah I think so. As players, you normally know the club’s interest way before it comes out into the press so there’s definitely going to have been some contact made and the fact that it’s still got legs to it means both parties are showing an interest.

“If Leeds have touched base with someone in that way and it wasn’t something he was interested in, we wouldn’t be hearing about it until now. It’d be no, the player doesn’t want it, move on.

“So the fact that has happened and it’s still got legs to it definitely means there’s still an interest from the player and there’s clearly massive interest from the club so he would have known of Leeds’ interest before it came out to all of us.”

Norris’ only worry is that Liverpool have also been linked, and he is concerned that De Paul could have his head turned.

“It’ll just be now whether he gets his head turned by Liverpool coming in or a club a little bit bigger where he might think ‘what shall I do now’ otherwise it looked like it was going to be a Leeds move all the way.”

– Fiquei feliz pelo gol, meu primeiro pelo Botafogo. Mais feliz ainda pela vitória, que foi muito importante. Agora é descansar, trabalhar e corrigir os erros que cometemos. É um time perigoso e a gente tem que se preparar para um nova batalha – projetando a partida de volta no Chile.

– A gente vai ter que procurar jogar (la no Chile). A gente sabe que vai ter uma pressão. Eles vão tentar ganhar de qualquer jeito, vai ter a torcida empurrando. Vai ser uma guerra e vamos nos preparar bastante para fazer uma grande partida e voltar com a classificação – completou.

رفض كارلو أنشيلوتي المدير الفني الإيطالي لفريق ريال مدريد الإسباني، الحديث عن التعاقد مع إيرلينج هالاند للعب بجانب كريم بنزيما في هجوم النادي الملكي.

هالاند هدفًا للعديد من الأندية الأوروبية الكبرى أبرزها نادي ريال مدريد، من أجل تعزيز هجوم الملكي.

وعندما وُجه سؤالًا في المؤتمر الصحفي اليوم لـ أنشيلوتي بشأن هالاند، أجاب: “يا له من سؤال.. أنا آسف، لا أستطيع الإجابة، لكن يمكنني القول إن بنزيما هو المهاجم الحديث، في الماضي كان رقم 9 يلعب في منطقة الجزاء وينهي الفرص فقط، لكن كريم هو ما تتطلبه كرة القدم الحديثة في المهاجم”.

وأضاف: “التسديد واللعب الجماعي والفردي، والضغط دائمًا للحصول على الكرة من الخصم، إنه المهاجم المثالي، اللاعب الذي يجب أن يكون عليه مهاجم ريال مدريد”.

وشدد: “الآن لدينا بنزيما وفينيسيوس، قبل ذلك كان هناك كريستيانو رونالدو، أن نقول إننا نعتمد على كريم بنزيما هي حقيقة لا داعي لإخفائها، أنا سعيد جدًا لكوني مدرب يعتمد على لاعب مثل بنزيما”.

وعلق على عودته إلى ريال مدريد: “أعتقد أنه مع إيفرتون كان الأمر جيدًا للغاية، لقد عملنا بشكل جيد في جوديسون بارك، وكانت العلاقة مع النادي جيدة جدًا، ولكن بعد ذلك اتصل ريال مدريد ويمكنني أن أفهم أنه كان هناك غضب في إيفرتون، لكنني لم أستطع أن أقول لا، ريال مدريد لا يُرفض، ربما لو كان نادٍ آخر كان بإمكاني الاستمرار في إيفرتون”.

وعن تدريب المنتخب الإيطالي: “لقد فكرت في الأمر قبل ذلك، أتيحت لي الفرصة في 2018، لكن يجب أن أكون صادقًا، أنا أحب العمل كل يوم وليس فقط لعب 3 مباريات في العام، عندما تتلاشى رغبتي سأتوقف، لكنني أحب العمل في ريال مدريد، والذهاب كل يوم للتدريبات ولعب مباريات يوم الثلاثاء والأربعاء”.

أكد تشافي هيرنانديز المدير الفني لبرشلونة أن آينتراخت فرانكفورت يستحق التأهل لنصف نهائي الدوري الأوروبي على حساب البلوجرانا، موضحًا أن فريقه لم يلعب جيدًا، لكن عليه التركيز الآن على منافسات الليجا وحسم التأهل لدوري أبطال أوروبا في الموسم القادم.

تشافي أثار القلق أيضًا بشأن إصابة لاعبه بيدري جونزاليس خلال المباراة أمام فرانكفورت حيث اضطر إلى استبداله.

وعلى ملعب “كامب نو” فاز فرانكفورت بثلاثية لهدفين على برشلونة ليتأهل لنصف النهائي بمجموع مباراتي الذهاب والإياب (4-3).

وتحدث تشافي في مؤتمر صحفي عقب المباراة، ونشرت صحيفة “ماركا” الإسبانية تصريحاته، وقال: “لم نلعب بأفضل طريقة، لم نلعب بشكل جيد، لقد لعبوا جيدًا وسجلوا هدفًا رائعًا مع خسارة سخيفة لنا، ضربة بعد ضربة، إنه خيبة أمل كبيرة للغاية”.

وأضاف: “إنه لأمر مخز لأننا كانت لدينا آمال في هذه المنافسة، يجب تهنئة آينتراخت، إنهم يستحقون ذلك، لم نكن نعرف كيف نولد الفرص رغم السيطرة على الكرة”.

وأكمل مدرب برشلونة حين سُئل عن أداء مدافعه أوسكار مينجويزا: “أعتقد أن مينجويزا لم يكن سيئًا، لن نركز على لاعب واحد ليتحمل الإقصاء، لم نلعب جيدًا في مباراة الذهاب أو الإياب، نحن نهنئهم ونتمنى لهم الأفضل، نحن لم نكن جيدين ولم ننجح”.

ويشأن إصابة بيدري جونزاليس الذي تم استبداله مع بداية الشوط الثاني، أفاد تشافي: “بيدري يقلقني، دعنا نرى ما لديه، إنها أخبار سيئة للغاية”.

وعاد تشافي للحديث عن الهزيمة أمام آينتراخت فرانكفورت مواصلًا: “إنها ليلة مصيرية بالنسبة لنا لأننا كنا متفائلين، لكنني أعتقد أن هذا هو الطريق، لقد توليت المسؤولية في نوفمبر، الإقصاء يجعلنا منزعجين حقًا، لكن هذا لا يعني أننا على الطريق الخطأ”.

وأوضح: “لقد لعبنا مباريات جيدة جدًا في كل من أوروبا ومحليًا، يريد الناس أن يقولوا إن هذا فشل، إنه ليس كذلك، كان هدفنا الرئيسي هو التأهل إلى دوري أبطال أوروبا ونحن على الطريق الصحيح في الدوري الإسباني، أوروبا ستعلمنا أن نتعلم من أخطائنا”.

وأكد الإسباني: “حان الوقت الآن للتفكير في مباراتنا القادمة أمام قادش، لقد أخبرت اللاعبين أنني فخور، لقد حاولنا، من الواضح أننا لم نكن جيدين”.

وأتم: “هذا لا يوقفنا، أنا فائز، أكره الخسارة، لكنني كنت في هذه الرحلة كلاعب، وأبني أسلوبًا في اللعب وهذه الهزيمة لن تمنعني، علينا أن نؤمن بما نفعله، يجب أن نستمر، للحصول على ما تريد هو مجرد حالة من الوقت والصبر، إذا لعبنا مباراة مثل اليوم، فالشيء الطبيعي هو أنه يمكن إقصائك”.

Crystal Palace target Jon Moncayola is unlikely to leave Osasuna this summer, La Liga expert Euan McTear has told The Transfer Tavern.

Moncayola is reportedly on Palace’s shopping list, with AS (via Football FanCast) claiming last month that the south London club could make a move for him this transfer window.

The 23-year-old midfielder was one of Osasuna’s standout players in La Liga last season. He finished the campaign with the best pass success rate (81.7%) in Jagoba Arrasate’s squad and also averaged 1.7 tackles per game, only bettered by Raul Navas’ average of three (via WhoScored).

McTear, however, cannot see Moncayola moving to England this summer after he signed a 10-year contract earlier this month.

“He’s signed a 10-year contract to 2031, which is… I’ve never seen anything like that,” the Spanish football expert said. “That kind of tells me he’s not moving this summer.

“I mean, 22 million release clause, I think they made it low enough that if someone comes, he could still leave before the 10 years. But I don’t imagine him signing a 10-year contract, announcing that to the fans and then disappearing.

“He’s been really good for Osasuna. He’s very different to your normal kind of northern Spanish, tough, battling midfielder. He’s a bit more technical than what they’re used to.”

Considering all of that, Moncayola does look like he would be a good signing for Palace this transfer window.

However, given the small problem of that 10-year contract, even with that release clause, it is hard to imagine the Spaniard leaving the El Sadar Stadium anytime soon.

O Jogo

A partida começou com o Caxias assustando no cruzamento de Márcio Goiano, mas Gilmar não alcançou a bola. A resposta do Caxias foi imediata, com o toque de letra de Gilmar após o chute de Wagner, forçando uma difícil defesa de Danilo Fernandes. Depois, Wagner foi lançado e saiu na cara de Danilo, mas chutou em cima do goleiro colorado que se agigantou na frente do meia grená. Na última chance de perigo no primeiro tempo, Valdívia bateu de primeira na entrada da área e Pitol fez boa defesa.

Na segunda etapa, Zago fez duas mudanças em oito minutos colocando a equipe para frente. Minutos depois, Carlos dominou no peito, chutou de primeira e a bola tirou tinta da trave de Marcelo Pitol. Quando a partida se encaminhava para um empate sem gols, D’Alessandro emendou de primeira, com a perna direita, o cruzamento de Uendel e marcou um golaço, Inter 1 a 0. Logo depois o Colorado perdeu duas chances de definir a partida: Charles acertou o travessão e no rebote, Carlos parou em Pitol. Como diz o ditado: quem não faz, leva. استقرت لجنة الحكام بالاتحاد المصري لكرة القدم على إقامة مباراة الأهلي وطلائع الجيش المقرر خوضها ببطولة الدوري الممتاز بطاقم تحكيم محلي.

ومن المقرر أن تقام مباراة الأهلي وطلائع الجيش في إطار منافسات الجولة السادسة من الدوري وذلك يوم الأربعاء الموافق 27 أبريل الجاري.

وكان الأهلي قد طلب الاستعانة بأطقم أجنبية لإدارة بعض مبارياته، في بيان أصدره بعد خسارته أمام المصري البورسعيدي في مباريات الجولة الرابعة عشر،  انتقد فيه التحكيم المصري.

وعلم “بطولات” أن الأهلي لم يطلب استقدام حكام أجانب لإدارة مواجهته ضد طلائع الجيش خلال الـ15 يومًا التي تسبق المباراة.

وتشترط لجنة الحكام لاستقدام حكام أجانب، تقدم الأندية بطلب رسمي قبل موعد المباراة بـ15 يوماً.

Aston Villa are lining up a second bid for Arsenal midfielder Emile Smith Rowe, according to John Percy of The Telegraph.

And, as to be expected, a number of Villa supporters have shared their thoughts on the transfer update on social media.

Villa had a £25m bid rejected by the Gunners for the 20-year-old last week, as revealed by David Ornstein of The Athletic.

Smith Rowe’s current deal at the Emirates currently runs until 2023, with Arsenal working to renew that.

Ornstein suggested that Arsenal have no interest in selling the attacking midfielder, but it seems as if Villa are plotting another offer.

Percy claims that Villa believe a possible deal is worth exploring and see Smith Rowe alongside Emiliano Buendia and Ollie Watkins in a front three, with club captain Jack Grealish as a number 10.
