Western Australia, who are fourth, will probably need a victory to stay in contention for the final, but they have plenty of work to do after the Redbacks took an 82-run lead.South Australia must win both of the last two games to have any chance of progressing further and they stayed in the race with a fine batting display. Harris, who took his season tally to 709 runs, started cautiously before increasing his range and had a collection of 22 fours and two sixes during his 211-ball innings.He departed with a nick behind off Steve Magoffin, and received assistance from 48 to James Smith and 48 for Michael Klinger. The Warriors were not helped from some dropped chances, with Klinger spilled on 2 by Ben Edmondson and Smith missed by Luke Pomersbach on 47. Klinger made them pay, but Smith had gained one more single when he hit Brett Dorey to short cover.Both Callum Ferguson (3) and Mark Cosgrove (19) failed, but by the time Cosgrove became Dorey’s second wicket the Redbacks already owned first-innings points. Aaron O’Brien’s 44 and Graham Manou’s 36 extended the advantage further by stumps.

وأتم عبد الغني: “يرى سواريش أن الغيابات التى يُعاني منها الأهلي الفترة الأخيرة في مركز الأجنحة تحتم منح ميكيسوني فرصة للتعبير عن نفسه، وربما ينجح في تغيير الصورة المأخوذة عنه”.

ويستعد الأهلي لمواجهة مصر المقاصة مساء اليوم الأربعاء، في خضم منافسات الجولة 27 من عمر الدوري المصري الممتاز.

Diego Alves foi apresentado no início desta semana na Gávea e já treina normalmente com os seus companheiros. Goleiro fez 20 jogos na última temporada do futebol espanhol e durante as férias estava trabalhando com o seu preparado pessoal, por isso, forma física não será um problema pra o goleiro.

Na partida contra o Palmeiras, na última quarta-feira, na Ilha do Urubu, o goleiro esteve presente no estádio e foi muito aplaudido pelos torcedores que o viram no telão.

Concerns over security grew following the attack in Lahore; shortly after, Chidambaram first suggested the IPL be postponed.More than two weeks later, it seems his position has not changed. “I can’t exempt any state government from giving to the election commission the forces they have promised,” he told the Indian news channel . “I have also made it clear that I cannot spare any central paramilitary forces.”Asked whether the IPL should be called off if the dates weren’t sorted out, he said the decision lay with the organisers. “I think the organisers are responsible people. I think they are patriotic Indians. I think they will take a call.”The home minister had initially asked for the postponement of the IPL as he did not want to overstretch his security personnel. The IPL’s organisers had revamped the tournament’s itinerary several times in a bid to avoid a clash with election dates – both run through April and May – but an agreement remains elusive after a fortnight of negotiations. Leeds aren’t overly concerned about the fitness of Kalvin Phillips despite his withdrawal from the England squad, The Athletic’s Phil Hay reports. 

The lowdown

Phillips pulled out of the squad for the World Cup qualifiers against Andorra and Hungary after sustaining a minor calf strain.

The 25-year-old has played every Premier League minute for Leeds since he returned to the line up for their August clash with Everton.

Phillips ranks second in the squad for tackles per 90 minutes with 2.3 (behind only Liam Cooper) and is fourth for accurate long balls with four (via WhoScored). He’s yet to score or assist this season but has done so three times in the top flight overall.

He’s missed ten games in all since Leeds gained promotion, and the Whites have only managed to win two of them.

Leeds are already set to be without Robin Koch, Luke Ayling and Adam Forshaw for their trip to St Mary’s (via Premier Injuries).

The latest

In a tweet, Hay wrote that Leeds are ‘hopeful’ Phillips will not miss any Premier League action.

He also confirmed that James Ward-Prowse, who will be suspended for Leeds’ visit after a red card last weekend, is to replace him in Gareth Southgate’s squad.

The verdict

Leeds may have got their first win under their belt prior to the international break – a 1-0 victory against Watford – but the Southampton game still looks pretty important. It’s 16th vs 17th in the early table.

Win, and you feel Leeds have overcome their shaky start. Lose, and fears of a possible relegation battle will grow more widespread.

The stats clearly illustrate Phillips’ importance to the side, and it’s a massive relief for supporters and of course Marcelo Bielsa that he should be available.

It’s safe to say Liverpool have been an attacking force to be reckoned with so far this season with 17 league goals scored in seven games as well as having more shots at goal (147) than any other Premier League side.

Additionally, Jurgen Klopp’s side have had seven different goalscorers getting their names up in lights in the top flight.

Nevertheless, it seems as though the club have their eyes on signing a new attacking talent at some point in the future.

What’s the news?

It has recently been reported by the Daily Mail that the Merseyside club have already started negotiations to sign Barcelona winger Ousmane Dembele on a free transfer during the next summer window.

Prior to joining Barcelona, the 24-year-old racked up a total of 10 goals and 22 assists in 50 appearances for German club Borussia Dortmund before securing his move to the La Liga giants for a massive fee of £135.5m in the summer of 2017.

During his time at Barcelona, the Frenchman – who is currently valued at £45m according to Transfermarkt – has scored 30 goals and provided 21 assists in 118 appearances across all competitions.

Potential Salah heir?

Regarding a potential move to Liverpool, we think that the club should definitely persist with their reported negotiations over trying to secure a free transfer for Dembele, who has been described as a “phenomenon” by former Barcelona star Lionel Messi, in the summer.

Given how there has been some speculation over whether or not current Reds winger Mohamed Salah will sign a new deal at the Merseyside club when his contract expires in 2023, we feel that Dembele could potentially be a solid replacement for Salah if the Egyptian leaves when his current deal ends, especially if Liverpool can sign the Frenchman on a free transfer.

Furthermore, with Dembele making more dribbles per game (2.1) in La Liga last season than Salah (one) managed to in the Premier League, perhaps this could be an area where the 24-year-old would improve Klopp’s side if the Egyptian were to depart.

However, he would need to work on his goals and assists output if he were to follow in Salah’s footsteps at Anfield, with the latter consistently netting more than 20 times a season for the Reds. However, one thing which should be taken into consideration over a potential move for Dembele is the hefty number of injuries he has suffered during his time in Spain.

Overall, though, if Liverpool can sign him on a free transfer, this could be a great bit of business from the Reds given how much experience he has of playing at the top level under his belt in the Bundesliga, La Liga and Champions League.
