أكد مصدر بنادي الزمالك تأجيل سفر بعثة الفريق الكروي إلى الإمارات لخوض مباراة السوبر المصري أمام الأهلي.

الزمالك يواجه الأهلي، مساء يوم الجمعة المقبل، على ملعب محمد بن زايد، في مباراة السوبر لموسم 2021 – 2022.

وقال المصدر في تصريحات خاصة لـ “بطولات”: “كان من المفترض أن تتجمع بعثة الزمالك في مطار القاهرة عند الثانية عشر من أجل السفر إلى الإمارات لخوض مباراة السوبر”.

وتابع: “ولكن لم يصل للزمالك أي رد بخصوص الخطابات التي تم إرسالها إلى اتحاد الكرة بشأن إيقاف محمود عبد المنعم كهربا لاعب الأهلي، ولجنة الانضباط باتحاد الكرة لم تعلن قرارها بشأن التأكيد على إيقاف كهربا”.

وتعرض كهربا لعقوبة الإيقاف 12 مباراة بسبب أحداث مباراة الزمالك والأهلي الماضية في الدوري ولكنه تظلم ضد القرار.

وأكمل: “لم يتم تقدير الزمالك جيدًا وبالتالي يدافع النادي عن اسمه، وبناء عليه تم تأجيل السفر احتجاجًا على عدم إصدار قرارات رسمية”.

واختتم: “لن يسافر الزمالك إلى الإمارات قبل أن يعلن اتحاد الكرة ولجنة الانضباط موقفهما”.

Two potential future stars announced themselves in Paarl as the South African Invitational XI made the New Zealanders work hard on the second day of their warm-up match. Rassie van der Dussen and Matthew Kleinveldt scored seventies before Trent Boult ensured the day was not a complete waste with two wickets in an aggressive spell in the final session.The New Zealanders declared overnight to give their bowlers a decent run but soon found the going tough on a pitch that only got flatter under sunny skies. Van der Dussen, who has played for the North West amateur team and Kleinveldt, cousin of Rory, were untroubled by all three seamers who bowled within themselves and in short spells throughout the morning.Both batsmen were strong off the front foot with Kleinveldt showing slightly more intent. They wore down the New Zealanders, who eventually had the spinners, Jeetan Patel and Bruce Martin operating from either end. The hosts went to lunch at 81 without loss before Kleinveldt brought out his more flamboyant side in the afternoon session.His half-century came in the second over after lunch while van der Dussen continued to play conservatively, although he also reached his milestone. With both set to record hundreds the New Zealanders appeared to be on a futile mission but Martin tempted Kleinveldt with flight, drew him forward and BJ Watling completed the stumping.The tourists’ most profitable period came after tea. Colin Ackermann was caught by Martin Guptill at slip off Neil Wagner. The umpires had to confer about the legitimacy of the catch after Shaun George, who was at the bowler’s end, thought it was taken off a bump ball.Boult got his first wicket when van der Dussen played an aerial shot into the covers and Dean Brownlie took the catch. Brownlie was on the field substituting for Peter Fulton, who will take no part in the Tests after injuring tendons in his knee while batting.Having suffered a severe stomach bug, Brownlie appeared to have returned to health and may even ask for special permission for bat on the third day. He was not named in the original 12 because of his illness but has progressed well since then and because the match does not have first-class status his request may be granted.In his next over, Boult produced a beauty that swung into Pite van Biljoen and upset the stumps. The New Zealanders caused a mini-collapse when Uwe Birkenstock was given what could have been seen as a harsh lbw dismissal against Martin. The ball looked to be missing leg but Birkenstock left without complaint.All the New Zealanders’ quick men returned for a final burst in the last hour and Chris Martin was the only one to have some reward. He picked up the scalp of promising wicketkeeper-batsman Bradley Barnes to an lbw that few could have argued with.The inability to bowl out an inexperienced, composite side made up of players from the amateur and under-19 competitions may see the New Zealanders cop some criticism but they should not be vilified just yet. The attack on display is unlikely to be their Test arsenal with Doug Bracewell sitting out and the pitch at Newlands should offer a little more bounce and carry than the unresponsive Boland Park strip.Luckily, it was the only lifeless part of the ground. A healthy crowd sat under the oaks to watch the match and a sponsored event, which involved some cricket and much music, took place on the lawns at the back of the stadium. In attendance were acting CSA chief executive Jacques Faul, former national assistant coach Vincent Barnes, who now works on the High Performance Programme, current bowling coach Allan Donald and many former players from the area including Henry Williams and Johnny Kleinveldt, Matthew’s father.

Captain Stephen Murdoch scored a steady century while wicketkeeper Luke Ronchi hit a quick-fire 95, which included nine fours and two sixes.While Wellington would have hoped to keep Canterbury in check, opener George Worker had other ideas. Worker, who scored 107 off 203 balls, was involved in two important partnerships with opener Peter Fulton and No. 3 batsman Shanan Stewart that helped Canterbury erase the deficit and then race away to a big lead. Two aggressive half-centuries by Tom Latham and Ronnie Hira helped Canterbury reach 410 for seven.Set a target of 383 to win, the home side, were struggling at 159 for five before a century-run stand between Grant Elliott and Harry Boam revived Wellington’s chances. Table-toppers Central Districts won their fourth game of the Plunket Shield, coming from behind to beat Auckland at the Eden Park No.2 ground. Asked to bat, CD folded for 233 on the first day. They were in danger of getting bowled out for under 200 but tail-enders Tarun Nethula and Kyle Jarvis, who was the second-highest run-getter with 45, put together a last-wicket stand of 57. Left-arm seamer Michael Bates picked up four wickets. Craig Cachopa led Auckland’s response with 145, giving them a lead of 115, even though seamer Bevan Small picked up a five-for.In their second innings, CD came back strongly. Openers Jamie How (124) and Jeet Raval (77) added 173, and Carl Cachopa made 53. Wicketkeeper Kruger van Wyk and Doug Bracewell, too, hit half-centuries in their stand of 126 that helped CD reach 457 for 7, upon which they declared, setting Auckland 343 to win during the final day. Otago won their third game of the Plunket Shield and are now in second place in the points table, after beating Northern Districts at the Queenstown Events centre. Upon choosing to field first, Otago dismissed ND for 217 in the first innings with fast bowler Ian Butler claiming 6 for 65. Daryl Mitchell and Ish Sodhi struck half-centuries but weren’t able to prevent their team from being bowled out for a below-par score. Hamish Rutherford, who has won a call-up to the New Zealand squad for the home series against England, scored more than half of Otago’s runs in the response, smashing 162 to give his team a 102-run lead. He scored at a fair clip, too, hitting 25 fours and a six in his 187-ball knock.Butler was again among the wickets and completed 10 wickets for the match in the second innings, grabbing 4 for 46 and helping bowl out ND for 227. ND were going strong at 161 for 3 but lost three wickets for just one run and were only able to gain a lead of 125. Butler was helped by the medium-pace of Sam Wells, who picked up three wickets, while Neil Wagner chipped in with two. Otago were keen to finish the game off the third day itself, and took just 26.4 overs in their chase to achieve their task. Opener Aaron Redmond made an unbeaten half-century, as his team won by eight wickets.

From there a platform was set and Manprit Juneja chipped in with a vital 66. Abdulahad Malik and Juneja steered the team within a few runs of the target before Juneja fell to Saurya Sanandiya. Gujarat won the match with six wickets in hand, in the 47th over.A belligerent 86 not out by Yusuf Pathan, with a combined effort by the bowlers, helped Baroda to a four-wicket win against Maharashtra at the Poona Club Ground. Chasing 178, Baroda were in trouble at 34 for 3 in the 11th over, when Pathan came in to bat. Within the next 61 balls, Baroda added 70 runs via Pathan and Ambati Rayudu, who scored 40. Pathan stuck till the end, hitting six sixes in his 55-ball knock, to see his side home in the 29th over.Maharashtra’s innings was based on short but significant knocks by their middle-order batsmen. After being put in to bat, they lost wickets regularly to struggle to 113 for 7 in the 36th over, before Shrikant Mundhe and Akshay Darekar rescued them by adding 58 runs.
